Visiting the Farm.
Personalized farm and garden tours are available by appointment. Come see the diversity and originality of our many gardens and farm buildings. We are sure you will enjoy strolling the garden paths and going behind the scenes of the animal habitats. Ask us anything you wish you had learned in kindergarten about chickens. Such as: "Can a chicken lay an egg without a rooster? Where do Alpacas come from and how do you end up with a sweater from a raw fleece?" Above all, no matter what your age, you will delight in reaching under the warm breast of a nesting hen and collecting her precious egg. Be a cowboy or cowgirl for the day. Ask about our horse riding opportunities in our arena and round pen.
Farming... Naturally.
Got questions? Intrigued by living off the land? Want to see what we do, how, and why? Always wanted to be a farm intern, but just don't have the time to commit?
Visit our farm for an hour or two and get a glimpse of why our apricots taste so great or how we store and collect our rainwater. From technical systems to soil science to just plain common sense, one hour here will open new doors in your life. We have green hearts, green thumbs, and lots of experience between all of us in the family.
