Choice of Farm Rentals:

  • View Deck Home   3 bedroom, 1.5 baths + many amenities, including a BIG kitchen, huge outdoor deck, extra bed in living room.

  • Patio Level Home  2 bedroom + big family room, 1 bath (*Pet friendly unit with easy pasture access). TV, phone, complete kitchen, dining area, 5 extra single beds in family room.

  • View Deck + Patio Level = One big 5 private bedroom rental + extra living rooms.  All rooms w/queen beds.  Plus 5 extra single beds in a den and family room.

  • ***Community Kitchen in Carriage House Building for interns and other special programs at the farm.

  • 4 Private Suites in Main Lodge.  3 bedrooms are on the upper floor with views of farmland and distant water. All suites have queen beds.  One room has 2 queen beds.  Lower level suite has a queen bed and a large bay window with reading nook overlooking courtyard gardens.  Choice of a private bathroom or shared bathroom.

  • Carriage Building:  Carriage House Loft and the Sunshine Studio.   The Carriage Loft has a beautiful country kitchen (see pictures below) a big pine poster queen bed, a living room with an additional single bed and a sofa, Satellite TV, DVD, VHS, and one very bright big bathroom.  All around views of the farm from many windows in this upstairs craftsman designed studio apartment.  Perfect for a couple or family, up to 4 people.     The other Carriage House unit is the Sunshine Studio, a garden level unit.  This is a small retreat space with 2 double beds, small refrigerator and microwave, one big private bathroom, DVD,  +door to private patio & gardens.  Sit with a book in the gardens outside the unit with some iced green tea.   Best for 2 or 3 people.

Our rentals are fully stocked with everything  families need to prepare meals and entertain large gatherings.

Please call to discuss with Shana, the owner, which section of the Farm Retreat Home will best suit your gathering.  Shana will help you to decide if you will need the entire 5 bedroom home or just one level.  Both levels have kitchens and separate entrances if rented individually as opposed to one large home.
Our rates are individually quoted.   We prefer to quote by email. This way you know exactly the accommodations you are renting plus the rates charged based on your dates, length of stay and number of people.
  You may also visit our webervations page for 2008 rental availability and rates.      Family re-unions are FANTASTIC at Once In A Blue Moon Farm.  The 5 bedroom guest home is IDEAL!!!!   Small families of 3 - 5 fit well in the Carriage Building and the Main Lodge next to the Carriage Building, or they can take just one level of the guest house and not the whole 5 bedroom house.  While you are on our farm you will most likely meet interns from college horticulture programs, landscape architecture degree programs, primary and secondary school farm experience programs, and 2-3 day horticulture and master gardening retreats and visitors on single day tours.   Please check back with us over the next few years to see us stretch and grow into a gardening and sustainable farming learning center for all ages and levels.
